With over 30 years in the IT services sector, I am now Joint Executive and Chairman of Ember Holdings and Director of TCM IP Services. I initially trained as an operational analyst on mainframe technology back in the 1980's and have seen enormous change to our industry in the intervening years. In the mid-eighties I set up my own business based in the City of London transitioning mainframe technology to micro-technology. We had many ups and downs at a time when technology was rapidly changing and the experience, I gained during this time has proved invaluable in my current role.I joined CCE in 1992 with a brief of running Account Management and Service Desk departments to automate and evolve both departments. From this position I grew into business development and managing the new business team. Whilst in this position, I implemented sales strategies to the wider sector and improved customer service by delivering first class managed services and consulting. The right technology, resources and support enabled business managers to completely outsource their technology requirements whilst controlling their business strategy. In 2000, I acquired CCE becoming Managing Director and rapidly growing the business both organically and via joint ventures.
