About Gilbert Gonzalez

Customer Service & Support has been the path I've taken for almost all of my career. As a young underprivileged student in college working as a grocery clerk to my first full-time job after graduation as an inside sales rep for a micro-computer product distributor I've always focused on the fact that the "customer is paramount ''. In the last 12-15 years I've pivoted after the recession from a career in software & equipment support-training to medical office manager and area administrative assistant & specialist and lastly a Program Assistant for the Gates Foundation.Coupled with my curiosity to learn new technology, training and support and my background in sales & marketing has molded me into a skillful enthusiastic administrative support professional. My passion for working with individuals in a team, helping the team to reach their goals and allowing me the creativity to imagine new streamline processes that would help the whole division excites me. It brings me great joy to know that my small part in supporting my team is part of a much larger goal as a whole.I'm genuinely a people-person. I find creating, developing and maintaining professional & personal relationships fascinating and rewarding. Using this learned skill I've been able to focus on another passion of mine which is working with and on DEI Affinity & ERG groups that are prioritizing the inequities in our society and strive to make this world a better place to live for everyone
