There is nothing better than seeing talent within the business grow and thrive.I am a tech and commercial lawyer by trade, with a specialism in IP and IT law. I'm passionate about the creative and tech industries and tech as a facilitator for business growth. I have previously been involved in a non exec capacity in creative, cultural and tech organisations.I love visiting factories and workplaces that are different to mine- that may sound strange but I have always been fascinated by the process of innovation, creation and manufacture and often find inspiration for our own business in unexpected places.Things that are important to me in business : creating a great place to work with a diverse team of people who aren't afraid to be their true authentic selves, delivering a different kind of legal service, breaking the mould on what a lawyer looks and feels like, supporting and championing our clients and the things that are important to them.And outside of work - I have many passions! From heavy metal and concerts to fab food and baking, from travelling abroad to reading with my book group, from walking in Northumberland with my dog and doing Pilates to theatre and cinema. And of course my amazing family and friends.I am also the vice chair of the board of trustees at Disability North -a fantastic organisation that provides advice and support to disabled people. A real privilege to be involved.
