As an experienced communication, engagement and events planning manager, I led a team promoting the work of the association for the benefit of the members and wider stakeholders. This included setting the strategic direction for our communications and planning campaigns, managing a busy press office, responding to media enquiries, writing copy for media releases and articles and managing the production of HTA News and corporate documents such as the Annual Review.At a tactical level messaging was promoted through a variety of media channels including print, social and audiovisual channels - tailoring communications to different audiences. The role also involved developing and delivering a programme of external events including one-day seminars, conferences and exhibitions - helping to shape content as well as supporting delivery.
