I spent five years working in Sydney as a Senior Manager working with international recruitment company Hays. My experience in Sydney involved managing a team of up to 20 consultants and recruiting senior accountancy and financial services roles within a range of global companies. I transferred back to Cambridge with Hays and grew their Cambridge office to 25 staff and it became one of the most successful offices in the UK. I then co-founded Pure in 2002 and helped grow Pure to have offices in Cambridge, Norwich, Chelmsford and Ipswich. Pure specialises in both permanent and temporary recruitment, with retention solutions for public and private companies across the East of England. I was, for the last ten years, running the operations side of Pure and co-establishing it’s role as a leader and a trusted adviser in the Accountancy, Financial Services, IT, HR, Marketing, Office and Executive recruitment markets. I was also involved in establishing a strong value-based culture. I helped Pure to achieve and retain Investors in People Gold award culminating in Pure being in the top 20 companies in the UK with gold accreditation. I have developed highly skilled teams with a collaborative, quality service and delivery focussed approach.Mental health and well-being are fundamental to me and providing support within the workplace is key. I was keen to establish a team of mental health first aiders and I also completed the MFA training .At Pure I was leading an organisation of 80 employees with an annual turnover of £15m+.I am currently working as a Senior HR Consultant for HR Ready providing Strategic and Operational Human resources support to a variety of companies in a wide range of sectors. Areas of expertise include creating a company culture to strengthen operational efficiency, revenue generation and employee engagement. Expertise in implementing a coaching culture, management development programmes, performance management, employee relations and mental health awareness.
