I am a problem solver.In order to expand my skills beyond the automotive maintenance and repair field where I’m highly skilled in electrical troubleshooting, I started training at the Davis Technical College (DATC). In June of 2016, I completed 900 hours of classwork and received a Certificate of Completion in Automation Technology. While attending DATC, I took as job with Firefly Automatix in North Salt Lake, working in the electrical fabrication department. I assembled electrical control panels and interconnecting wire harness for their automated turf harvester. Within a year, I was promoted to electrical fabrication department manager.Under my direction, the electrical fabrication department enjoyed a 99% + on time delivery of sub-assemblies to both the final assembly and parts departments, with a reduction in setup errors to less than 1 per harvester.I solved problems by:• Working without direct supervision to meet production schedules, goals, and company objectives. • Understanding the importance of each department and how their success is dependent on all other departments within the company. • Recognizing the need for a positive, safe, organized, and disciplined team working environment. • Addressing the needs of any department or individual within my abilities.
