I participated as scientific consultant in the submission of a proposal dealing with H2 in response to a very competitive call of Canadian government.

I was in charge of the development of collaborations between the academic actors of University of Rennes (UniR) and the industrial sector in the field of Energy, Chemistry and Materials.

• Development of new teaching strategies based on project management, team working and communication skills.• Search for national and international funding opportunities to apply with R&D projects in the field of renewable energies (SOFC, Hydrogen production) and waste valorization.• Project management and leader of technical tasks dealing with materials definition, synthesis and characterization.• Daily management of the research project of a group of 5-10 under- and postgraduate (PhD & Master) students.• Member of 3 editorial boards: Revista Matéria (BR), Revista ION (CO), Crystals (guest, CH).• Author of 5 Patents and 64 Publications in High Impact Factor journals.• Over 60 Communications (Oral/Poster) including 11 as invited speaker.• Head of the Office of Foreign Relations (~10 p.) in 2016-2017 with the following tasks: (i) define and execute the strategy of internationalization of the university (ii) define and follow the execution of the yearly projects with a group of professionals (iii) represent the university outside to encourage international exchanges (iv) negociate international agreements to promote efficient students´ and professors´ mobility in both directions.

• Project management (task or project leader) on Nuclear Waste Storage from 2000 to 2003, then on New Energy Technologies (Li-batteries, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells, Catalysis and Water Electrolysis for Hydrogen production) from 2003 to 2009.• Development of original synthesis and elaboration processes for ceramics and ceramic-metal composites, with the objective to patent them.• Management of a 5-people work team including post-doc, PhD and Master degree students.• Responsible for the laboratory of materials synthesis and characterization (safety and supplies).

• Research and study of new pigments and luminescent compounds• Synthesis at Lab scale of new materials and structural studies by X-Ray Diffraction and SEM analysis.• Study of optical properties using spectroscopic methods (Diffuse reflectance and Luminescence, Photoconductivity, IRTF, Raman, EXAFS/XANES).• Publication of 10 articles in High Impact Factor journals.
