I worked as a clinical nephrologist for over 25 years. At the same time, I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit. In 1992, I founded the Medifutur group, which gradually opened several centers for the treatment of chronic kidney disease, mainly in the PACA region.Medifutur grew externally, acquiring two medical-surgical establishments in Paris (Clinique de l'Alma and Clinique Paris Lilas). The group then restructured and modernized the sites, notably creating a medical imaging platform (scanner, MRI), a medical rehabilitation department and redeploying the oncology department (robotics).From 2011 onwards, fund-raising with Pechel Industries, then Siparex and Turenne Santé, as well as an appeal to a banking pool, enabled the completion of this large-scale project and the development of the facilities. The Medifutur group was sold to Almaviva Santé at the end of 2018.In addition, I chaired the national union of private dialysis centers (FHP-REIN) for 17 years, and was a member of the executive committee of the Fédération de l'hospitalisation privée (FHP) and the national board of the Fédération de l'hospitalisation privée médecine, chirurgie, obstétrique (FHP-MCO).After a career dedicated to nephrology and private hospitalization, I became interested in disruptive technologies and, in 2020, created the startup Ki'tech to develop deep-tech medical devices to prevent kidney failure and improve patients' quality of life. Michel Fallah quickly joined me to ensure that technology and health would make these medical devices a major innovation as quickly as possible.I'm bringing to Ki'tech, an ambitious Medtech start-up, my medical and scientific expertise, entrepreneurial skills and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, to meet the major prevention and monitoring challenges posed by chronic kidney disease worldwide.
