IT Architect / Sr Lead Developer with good notions of Unix system administration, specialised in the development of network and system applications in Unix environments (Linux, BSD and others) and comfortable with secure development techniques (isolation, privileges separation, privileges dropping, safe APIs, ...).My projects range from small mono-machine applications to applications distributed on scalable and highly-available infrastructures which I'm comfortable building too. I'm not full-stack, I'm most-stack and I try to be as competent as possible in each.I contributed to the OpenBSD open-source operating system and founded the OpenSMTPD project which distributes an SMTP server implementation under the ISC license.I cofounded Plakar in 2024 to work on improving the backups industry.In a parallel life, I'm a trained hypnotist and studied work psychology.
