In this highly demanding and strategic role, I directed the company’s business development for the sales and service activities. My contributions include: ★ Played an integral role in the company’s largest campaign, which entailed assisting the swiss telecom operator with transitioning from analog to digital lines, ultimately delivering the best business solution to customers and retained them for the next ten years. ★Utilised expert budget management to significantly contribute to annual turnover budget of several millions. ★ Increased productivity and completed a Service Repairs project within two months rather than six, due to the creation and successful implementation of efficient and faster operational processes.★ Performed the successful implementation of SAP in 2016, which comprised perplexing change management adaptation within one year for a cut-over period of four weeks.

As Director of Operations I directed more than 100 employees, whilst holding full responsibility for operations. In this role, I developed plans and budget for business operations, as well as, managed Manufacturing, Logistics, Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance, Projects, and Engineering. I was also accountable for upholding quality standards and maximising profits. In this capacity, I spearheaded planning, strategic direction, and proactive management, whilst conducting administration and achieving action plans. In this capacity I spearheaded production functions, whilst managing schedules of more than 160 employees at premier aluminum profiles mainly for the rail market. I also oversaw daily production functions and manufacturing activities, with a view to business development. The evaluation of production costs was within my portfolio as well. Further, I operated as part of a steering committee geared at planning, forecasting, KPI, and cash management. As Production Manager I diligently made sure that there was compliance to rigid production deadlines and occupational health and safety, as well as, provided timely progress reports to directors and stakeholders.My key achievement in this role include:★Channeled constant improvement and change management across all production lines, via the effective implementation of a new lean manufacturing method.★ Successfully implemented TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology, which significantly increased the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) rates from 42% to 45%.

I commenced my tenure at Alcan Aluminium Valais as Continuous Improvement Leader and Technical Assistant of the Operating Manager in Germany since 2001. Due to the demonstration of expertise in the field, along with hard work, I earned a promotion and moved from Germany to Switzerland in 2007. In this new role, I was in charge of overseeing business strategy to ensure shop success, optimal operations, customer satisfaction, and profitability. I also drafted budgets, created business plans, and forecast data. As Die Shop Manager, I was responsible for human resource management, via recruitment, training, and interviews. I also spearheaded site performance through productivity, revenue, and operating income. My significant contributions include:★Diligently controlled production costs, conformed to annual budgets, and significantly improved production assets utilisation, through the creation of a highly effective five-year plan.★Utilised cost management of resources and new sale prices to garner positive EBIT over three years, with a record achieved in 2008.★Expertly managed the company’s major investment project, which entailed needs analysis, specifications designing, supplier selection, purchase negotiations, and installation of equipment.

Here I diligently supported the Operating Manager and oversaw several technical projects. In this role I exhibited exemplary organisatonal and analytical skills. I also performed thorough quality control and developed technical reports My primary contributions include:★Spearheaded technical projects budgeted at two million, which comprised the management of capex plan for three plants, in cooperation with plant managers and finance director.★Played an integral role in the company’s achievement of ISO14001/OHSAS18001 certifications, through the conceptualisation and implementation of an EHS Management System into an existing Quality System across three sites.

In the demanding role as Continuous Improvement Leader, I coordinated several technical workshops within the operating department. I was accountable for making sure that staff grasped the technical knowledge required in their respective roles. I also held full responsibility for continuous improvement at all business levels.My main contribution in this role include:★Directed the successfully implementation of a continuous improvement system within the plant, through Lean workshops, training collaborators (LOTO, SMED, Six Sigma methodologies), project management, and revision of standard operating procedures.
