Responsible to lead a strategic Operations Program to support a “Next Generation” Hosted Unified Communications service identified as a top corporate priority. Specific accountabilities include:- Leading a new & unique Virtual Operations Team model to deliver all key Day 1 (Service Implementaiton) and Day 2 (Service Assurance & Support) operational requirements for the new Hosted UC service- Responsible to set strategic direction, identify key requirements and make key decisions for all operational aspects of our Service Development within a multi-year, multi-million dollar program- Leading an Operational Readiness Program to enable the successful delivery of critical operational skills, capabilities & tools required for the new service- Leading intiatives and associated support team to drive operational productivity and customer experience improvements through a Continuous Service Improvement Program, Service Level Management and a Problem Management discipline

Responsible to lead an Operational Unit comprised of 70-100 management & unionized employees spanning 4 provinces responsible to implement and support various Internet Protocol (IP) based services for business & enterprise customers including: IPPBX, Unified Communications, Contact Center, VoIP, Network Security, and Managed Data Services. Specific accountabilities inlcuded:- Managing a multi-disciplined team of operational and technical resources including: Operations Managers, Engineers, Senior Technical Resources, Service Managers, Technicians and various other roles- Developed and managed yearly business plans, safety programs and succession plans for team- Managed a multi-million operational budgets with objectives to drive productivity & reduce operating costs while evolving skills/capabilities to meet the demands of new IP services- Led the development and establishment of various new roles and a new Operating Model within the Operational Unit guided by best in class industry practices- Established a high performance team/employee culture and responsible for managing yearly employee skills/training programs based on industry certification requirements

- Responsible for managing the strategic relationship and leading all account & sales activities for some of Bell Aliant’s most high value enterprise customers - Successfully developed executive level relationships with customers and executed strategic account plans that delivered maximum value to customers while growing and retaining their business in a highly complex and competitive environment- Led negotiations of many complex multi-million dollar deals and contracts with enterprise customers- Developed and established strategic partnerships and identify mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities with select strategic customers beyond the service provider relationship to establish a key competitive differentiator

- Consult with customers to understant their business requirements and develop Information Communications Technology solutions to help them meet their objectives- Responsible for leading designs and implementations of Bell Aliant Information Communication Technology solutions for major accounts accross various domains including Voice, Data, Internet, LAN/WAN Networks, Contact Centers and others- Work within a multi-functional account team as technology subject matter expert to support the execution of strategic account plans and sales objectives- Manage projects associated with delivering complex Information Communications Technology solutions for major enterprise customers
