TeleMarketing People is a specialist recruitment agency, recruiting for telephone based business to business roles. This is a 360 degree role where I carry out the entire sales cycle from finding the client, agreeing rates and terms, establishing their needs, to doing their initial telephone interviews and finding the right candidate for the right role.

The day to day running of the inbound and outbound Business Development Team in this award winning company. This is the most important team in the company where we are responsible for face to face appointment setting for a team of seven sales people to go out and pitch for pilot B2B telemarketing campaigns for the company. Working very closely with the field sales team, ensuring they had all the information required to enable them to go to the appointment and effectively close the deal.

I started with the company as a Telesales Professional and achieved promotion within three months. My first role after promotion was as a Quality Assessor and then on to Team Manger. I managed teams of both B2B and B2C for clients such as Thorogood Business Intelligence, MBNA, British Ceramic Tiles, Pitney Bowes and Zurich Financial Services. In the numerous roles I have had I have always been in direct contact with the Company’s Clients, continually building rapport, cementing excellent working relationships and looking for further business opportunities.

I started at this company in the capacity of Foreign Exchange Consultant and then progressed to become trained on the travel side of the business where I excelled. I achieved promotion to Customer Service Manager and finally to Branch Manager of several branches. I was responsible for employee recruitment and training with a view to maximizing sales opportunities whilst adhering to company policies, standards and the financial success of the numerous branches. As a Cruise Expert I developed a Cruise Club to keep customers up to date with new ships and itineraries. To enhance my knowledge of the industry during this time I cruised to the Caribbean with Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean and other trips to Alaska and Canada with Princess Cruises.
