As a Biological Science Technician at U.S. Forest Service, I apply my B.S. in Biology and Ecology to manage and control invasive species that threaten the health and diversity of our forests and grasslands. I have over three seasons of experience in conducting field surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and implementing treatments and monitoring protocols for various invasive plants. I collaborate with other technicians, scientists, and partners to support the U.S. Forest Service's mission of sustaining the nation's forests and grasslands. I am passionate about protecting and restoring the natural resources and ecosystems that are vital for our environment and communities. I am always eager to learn new skills and methods to enhance my competencies and effectiveness as a Biological Science Technician.
