Ensure clear communication as the point of contact between different teams involved in developing projects focused on intersectional harm reduction-based medical care for people who use drugs. Examples of projects assisted in are the creation of the 2nd Annual Harm Reduction in Clinical Praxis Conference. Work under Dr. Seiji Shibata to create mouse models of auditory neuropathy using different ototoxic agents. Goal is to eventually use mouse models to further research treatments and medications to address auditory neuropathy in humans. Responsible for dissecting mice cochlea, staining target cells in mice cochlea tissue using immunohistochemistry technique, assisting in tissue slide preparation, and analyzing slide results

Remotely monitored the temperature, heartrate, and any symptoms patients report. Reported fevers and severe symptoms to clinical team and called patients for weekly check-ins with how they feel and how they are doing with the system. Called new patients daily for 2 weeks when first onboarded to the remote monitoring system before moving to weekly calls.
