Gillian started her audit career with PwC, based in Aberdeen. She gained her CA in 2004 and managed a multitude of audits from owner managed businesses to multinational listed companies, specializing in upstream oil and gas companies. During this time, Gillian was involved in internal quality reviews in Aberdeen, London and Melbourne and was an active member of the Scottish training team.Gillian also spent 7 years in Muscat working within the assurance team of PwC, managing a range of internal roles; including risk and quality, learning and development and professional qualifications. During this period, she trained as a fitness instructor as an added personal challenge.Now working for PKF Global, Gillian supports their worldwide membership on audit methodology, quality, risk and assurance. She also works closely with the PKFI’s International Professional Standards Committee and the Assurance Strategy Group. Externally, Gillian is an active participant at the Forum of Firms.
