Head Of ProductAlertive Jan 2022 - Feb 2024RemoteI joined the Alertive leadership team in pursuit of a challenge that felt meaningful. I am very proud of the work we're accomplishing and the value our products deliver to the Healthcare sector. I own the long-term vision for the product suite and the roadmap to take us there, which is made up of native Android and iOS apps, the Alertive web app, and smart decisioning tooling that facilitates seamless integration, automation and leverages opportunities using AI technology. I work closely with NHS customers and end-users (doctors, nurses and healthcare staff on the ground) to understand how technology can empower them to collaborate and deliver patient care with greater ease, transparency & interoperability. I am highly interested in partnerships with other health tech providers, in order to facilitate faster and seamless data delivery to the teams at the heart of patient care. Highlights (to date):* Removing emergency bleeps (pagers) and replacing them with an integrated digital solution across four Trusts (and counting), including Imperial College London* Building a product discipline & working practices from the ground up which keep the teams agile and focussed on a value-driven priorities* Growing a userbase from a handful of pilot users (<30) to 30,000+* Setting up Alertive's analytics & insight capabilities from scratch to make data-driven decisions & learn quickly * Embedding the discipline of tight feedback loops, failing fast and listening to our end users into day to day practices across all teams* Winning a place on the General Electric Edison Accelerator Programme which proved out the impact of using Alertive as an integrated distribution mechanic to communities of clinical teams* Supporting partnerships which amplify the value Alertive can help deliver with partner companies such as Netcall, Cerner, EPIC, General Electric, Palantir, NHS Digital, Vodaphone, Apple & more -
Senior Product ManagerAlertive Oct 2021 - Jan 2022 -
Product Manager Sports PresentationSky Betting & Gaming Jan 2020 - Oct 2021In this role, I lead two cross disciplined engineering teams to deliver exciting and slick experiences to sports betting users, which drove loyalty to the brand and won the company a larger portion of their spending budget. I owned the front-end sports experience, and collaborated with a wide variety of teams and stakeholders including trading, back-end engineering team, marketing, promotions, customer success & design, UX & research teams. We delivered industry-leading product developments at significant scale through effective collaboration within a large and multi-faceted organisation by keeping the customer front and centre.Highlights in this role were:* Launching a live Racing Product, delivered across 6 separate teams. Required a clearly defined first phase and rigorous stakeholder management. It took over £1m in revenue in its first week and is projected to be worth at least £6m in annual profit.* Rolling out stats across the football product to provide contextual, in-situ information. Interactions and commercials showed this made our football experience more engaging, with 30% of users checking stats before placing their Saturday accumulator. * Design overhaul of football event pages to make better use of space, consolidate the pre- to live football experience and streamline the narrative of the pages. Increased engagement with key features on the page by 10-15% pointing to us achieving the desired increase in the ‘stickiness’ of the product* Founding and leading a cross-team performance working group to proactively improve the speed of our products -
Product Manager NativeSky Betting & Gaming Jul 2018 - Jan 2020Leeds, United KingdomMy first role with Sky Bet was leading the native app teams, looking after hybrid Android and iOS app experiences, which handled 75% of Sky Bets traffic. Highlights in this role were:* Implementing tracking & set up monitoring dashboards to have visibility on key metrics such as app loading times, crashes, abandonment* Raising the business case to reallocate responsibility for non Sky Bet apps, in order to focus on and protect high revenue Sky Bet product. This was instrumental in allowing the team to react to the later iOS policy enforcement challenges from Apple.* Refactoring the Android app from Java to Kotlin with a view to optimise performance and de-risk the platform, resulting in us halving load times and seeing a 3.6% uplift in conversion worth ~£3m in annual margin* Leading the iOS teams through a year of app rejections by negotiating minimum scope to demonstrate strides towards native experience, tightly managing senior stakeholders and helping teams get the pipeline unblocked in the most efficient way. The iOS teams have now had all their releases approved since January 2019 and a much slicker native experience in core parts of the app -
