I was responsible for preparing premiums,claims and commissions reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis and ensuring any open reconciling items were kept to a minimum, investigated and cleared within 90 days. I also prepared bordereaux and invoices. I set up monthly calls with branch accountants and controllers to discuss reconciliations and clear any open items.

I worked here when I began training towards a CIMA qualification as part of a three year training program covering all areas of finance including banking and treasury, capital accounting, financial accounting,management reporting and tax.
