I reported to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, I interacted with all levels of SDTC as well as various external parties and provide strategic and administrative oversight of activities related to SDTC’s corporate governance. Liaising with SDTC’s Board of Directors and Committees, I ensured the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the support and collateral provided to them, and ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulatory requirements. I was also responsible for the monitoring and reporting of key corporate risks to SDTC’s senior management and Board, supporting them in their risk oversight and mitigation work.

- Support SDTC in elaborating and refining its government outreach strategy.- Develop programs and initiatives that will support the outcomes of SDTC's outreach strategy.- Research, analyze and provide briefings on studies, activities and upcoming events being undertaken by government that relate to matters of interest to SDTC.- Develop materials, plans and background analysis for SDTC to appear before Parliamentary committees and meetings with Members of Parliament.

Government Affairs at Canada Post is responsible for providing excellence in government relations expertise to this crown corporation, and support and service to Parliamentarians. This role takes into account the private market environment within which the business operates and the public policy and legislative framework established by the Government of Canada. In my role, I had responsibility for the regions of Western Canada and the Northern Territories.

Served on the political staff of the Honourable Jim Prentice, in a range of roles during his time as Minister at Environment Canada, Industry Canada and Indian Affairs and Northern Development Canada.
