As the founding member of a new team at Amazon, tasked with growing their Private Brand Food offering across EMEA, I have expanded the team to 7 people and launched 300 new products from 30+ suppliers in 3 years. During this time there have been zero recalls or escalations. I have developed, implemented and enforced processes and policies required to launch safe, legal and quality products across Europe, working with numerous business teams, influencing these to ensure Food Safety is a priority and reviewing these regularly to ensure these remain best in class.​Responsible for all stages of product launch from supplier approval through to launch and throughout life. Auditing suppliers against the Amazon standard, specification creation, artwork creation and legal sign off (including 6 language specific versions), first production runs and product monitoring through surveillance auditing and testing.• EU Food Program set up. Creation of policies and processes.• Design and implementation of a bespoke Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System.

Responsible for managing all products to market through the full product lifecycle, working across all functions of the business to ensure that every new launch happened to plan (including ingredients, packaging, labelling and operational changes). Managing and delivering the launch of 150+ new products across all categories.• Ensuring that the business is fully compliant with latest legislation (FIR).• Managing product trials both in house and with third party suppliers.• Day to day management of a team of 2 technologists.

Developing new business relationships with customers in the Food Retail, Manufacturing and Hospitality sectors. Focused on Food Safety Audits, Training and Consultancy throughout the UK food supply chain.

Working mainly with Trace One’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Packaging system – a collaborative retail focused platform which enables retailers and suppliers to develop and manage own brand products and ensure accurate data is held in relation to these. As part of the professional services team I have worked collectively with retailers to offer system, industry and best practice advice and delivered projects on time and to budget. Including strategy meetings with customers to identify and document requirements fully; ensuring expectations are met.I have trained many retailer and supplier users in the solutions offered to enable them to gain the most benefit from the platform. The technical knowledge of these individuals varies and as such the training I have provided is adapted accordingly to suit individual needs.I have also been involved in many sales opportunities from a pre-sales perspective, offering industry expertise, advice, knowledge and demonstrations of both Trace One’s food and non-food offerings to prospects of all sizes both in the UK and worldwide.
