I am currently enrolled in an accelerated BSN program, and expect to graduate in November 2017. I am most passionate about taking care of mothers, infants, and children, and my goal is to work with these populations once I am a Registered Nurse. My love for working with kids began when I started babysitting at age 12, and continued to grow through my high school and college years. I worked as a preschool teacher both in high school and college, and I was also employed as a private childcare provider for a family with three children under four years old. I currently work as a Nurse Apprentice on a 115-bed medical/telemetry floor at one of the most reputable hospitals in Nevada. I am involved with several nursing organizations, including the Student Nurses' Association (SNA), the Honor Society of Nursing, the Critical Care and Emergency Student Nurses' Association (CCESNA), and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). I have completed my BLS certification, and plan to obtain my ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications in the near future.
Listed skills include Basic Life Support, Nursing, Meditech, First Aid, and 7 others.
