Established the IT infrastructure for the first European HubSpot office, under a very tight deadline. I worked with telecommunications vendors, ISP vendors, construction teams, builders, electricians, Office Management and the Facilities team to build a functioning Comms room, meeting rooms IT/AV, and main office IT/AV. Worked with the Voice engineer to setup Ireland dialling codes and dialling structures that would be used while dialling internally/externally/emergencies etc. Setup user working spaces including IP phones, softphones, laptops, and software/app needs. I worked heavily with my Sysadmin team in the US office, to bring the HubSpot Network alive (via point-to-point initially and MPLS later) across the Atlantic in the Dublin Office. Reached all goals and successfully launched the office in Jan 2013, I continued to manage IT budget and hardware for the rapidly growing office and staff base, while technically supporting the growing user base. I then finished up once Infrastructure teething calmed and hiring slowed a little.

•Responsible for the Management of Dublin IT functions and Employees (Sys. Admins & Helpdesk) including infrastructure Management, Hiring, Performance Management, Budget Management, Decision Making. •Responsibilities as part of a global team providing 24x7x365for installation, configuration, and administration of systems (Windows, Linux and Virtualization server environments and networking infrastructure) in a multi-site environment (primarily Dublin, Seattle & Shanghai) •Contributed to detailed company-wide project planning•Responsible for the project planning and subsequent implementation of very notable projects during the PopCap EA integration.Notable Project Information:----------------------------------•Renumbering the entire PopCap network (IP blocks/Network Devices/DHCP/AD/Serves) to accommodate the integration of the PopCap Network into the EA Games Network - PopCap's subnets conflicted with many being used within the EA Network already. I was the project co-ordinator for the Dublin section of this Global project, it had to be planned out in great detail with the IT Security/Network admins and tech support teams. The project had to implemented with very little impact to our users whom were working towards their own game release dates that could not be impacted.•Extension of the existing PopCap Network on to two newly acquired floors - Planned and implemented this project, I worked with Facilities, Electricians and construction teams to build a state-of-the-art new office for the ever-expanding PopCap/EA team.•Full Connection of PopCap into the EA Network via MPLS. I was responsible for the Dublin success of this Global, EA/PopCap integration Project. I liaised with the PopCap Security team, new EA Network Admin colleagues and existing global PopCap colleagues on this project team:- our aim -to achieve all prerequisites for the network integration with EA. I worked very closely with the EA Sr Network Admin to prep & configure the MPLS for cut-over.

My role in HSBC involved developing IT Security policies and implementing IT Securities for the Irish companies of HSBC. Our team worked in conjunction with the IT Systems team and the Risk team in order to ensure adherence to the HSBC Group Policies, standards and manuals, in order to limit and mitigate Risk. My daily duties included Vulnerability Scanning using industry tools - I reported on these findings, and suggested solutions and turnaround times to the IT Operations team. I worked on Windows Patching and deployment, Server Hardening as per company standards and industry standards (CIS), Anti-Virus monitoring. I assessed Information security Risks that may have arisen due to personal findings, new projects, business findings & Audit findings. It was my responsibility to correlate quarterly reporting on these security items. Responsible for organizing and hosting weekly meetings with our IT Security team in Hyderabad.Projects:- -The Lockdown & forced encryption of Mass storage devices(memory sticks, cameras, ipods, external hard drives etc, CD’s and floppy’s). -The Roll-out of a Password Repository system which leases admin passwords to admins as & when needed. -A building move - part of the move project team to move 600+ employee's to new premises, working with facilities & IT involved in planning and moving schedule's of people & Equipment, and testing of equipment when it had arrived at its new location to ensure as little disruption as possible to the employee base.

Every Six Months we would simulate a disaster recovery situation and follow our plan to ensure that it was effective.-As a member of the security team, I took part in the project to configure & rollout the Copperfasten spam filter, Checkpoint Endpoint Security and many s/w upgrades.-I was a member of the project team for standardising and upgrading Hotel and Head Office data from Windows NT\Novell to Windows 2000 Server.
