Assist Chief Registrar with ongoing development of the system along with its integration with eMuseum and other applications. --Lead collections management projects, as assigned.--Assist with coordinating the shipping for proposed collection materials, including their documentation into the database; assist the Chief Registrar with processing acquisitions following committee approval. --Manage aspects of the Museum's image collection, both digital and analog; develop and maintain policies and procedures for the preservation and management of the image collection, including born-digital objects within the Museum's collection; process internal and external requests for the use of images in the Museum's collection, maintaining license agreements for image use and negotiating and processing fees. --Assist with public inquiries relating to the collections and make the collections available for research, teaching, and display by providing physical and intellectual access. --Assist with training and supervision of volunteers, interns, and other staff assisting in collections management projects.

Photographic Archive:-Primary responsibility is to oversee the photographic archive, containing both digital and analog material. - Implement best practices procedures to ensure the digital preservation and sustainability of the digital image content within the Visual Archive. This involved developing a workflow where unique identifiers were assigned to images along with embedding predetermined metadata fields through the VRA Metadata Panel. Copyright:- Assist with queries regarding copyright of works for both internal and external use.- Oversee rights and reproduction requests - Spearheaded the process to request and secure Non-Exclusive Rights License agreements for copyright protected works within the permanent collection.Rights and Reproductions:- Sustained relationships with image vendors to ensure appropriate image distribution and availability.- Ensure image quality of digital and printed works through methods of color management.Collections Care/Cataloguing:- Maintain cataloguing standards of objects within the database.- Performed other tasks within the Registrar's office, such as assisting with database maintenance and metadata cleanup in the collection management system, TMS (Gallery Systems); movement of art objects; registering works as they enter and depart the building.
Oversaw Rights and Reproduction Requests with external clients. Worked closely with other staff to fulfill their digital image needs. Facilitated with financial expansion of our image prints. Currently developing a proposal for a Data Management Plan for our digital images. This will hopefully be later implemented into a digital archive of our digital image that document our permanent collection.
Greeted visitors to the Museum and inquired about their membership status or their interest. I used an iPad containing an app that connected with our ticketing relational database, Paciolan. Was cautious of data duplication and assisting with the maintenance of the database as needed.
Digital Image Resources (Dept. Of Intellectual Property)
Processed the original Slide Bank by copy-cataloguing location information and creating original cataloguing as needed. Navigated TMS to locate the art object record. If no image record existed, or was a Black and White version, the slide was set aside for digitization by another volunteer.
Membership
Processed the intake of donations for the Give the Arts A Chance campaign for the past two fiscal years. Updated donation entries into Enterprise and generated mail merges of acknowledgement letters for participants.
Digitized a photo collection. Created a document explaining proper, effective procedures to digitize their analog photographs to better use their Flickr account.
Processed quite a few photograph collections. Learned the types of materials used to better preserve photographs as needed and proper methods of storage.

Assisted with image requests and digitization of images as needed. Maintained the database and was a liaison for the faculty to meet their educational needs.
