I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and have managed and coordinated successful Adobe Illustrator courses and workshops for cartographers across the UK.I used ArcGIS to edit, process, and query map data for teaching and research purposes.I am fully capable of delivery and rollout of training on IT systems within both educational and professional environments.I am extremely competent in the use and training of Windows 8 and 10 systems, including installation, customization, and fault finding/fixing, and have sound knowledge of Windows software (using and installing) and PC hardware (system building) in addition to the understanding of Apple Macintosh and Linux.I was the Newsletter Editor for the Society of Cartographers from 2016 to 2018.I was a Cartographic Editor for the Journal of Maps from 2010 to 2014.
