Plan and implement the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff strategy for enabling the successful reintegration of veterans and their families into civilian society. Develop and implement collaboration strategies with inter-service and interagency partners and non-governmental organizations with a national influence. Conduct face-to-face collaboration and mentorship with these organizations to develop community-based, public-private partnerships that support veteran reintegration.

Senior executive leadership of a 500-man, elite reconnaissance organization. Directed and managed every aspect of the organization’s global operations. Supervised and led 10 managers in the development of training, operations, logistics, intelligence, and human resource management strategies and plans. Conceptualized and directed the battalion’s combat operations in Afghanistan.

Directed and supervised an inter-disciplinary team of 40 intelligence specialists in the planning, implementation, and management of intelligence activities supporting a 25,000-man Marine Division during training and combat operations in Afghanistan. Directed and managed all activities related to the utilization and protection of classified information.

Assisted the Executive Director in managing a staff of 60 responsible for the planning, direction, and management of all intelligence activities supporting a 25,000-man Marine Division during training for overseas deployment. Responsible for human resource management of all intelligence officers assigned to the Division.

Executive-in-charge of planning and coordinating future plans, orchestrating current operations, and ensuring the continuous operational readiness of the battalion. Supervised and coordinated the activities of the battalion’s four operating groups. Orchestrated and managed the battalion’s combat operations in Iraq. Measured effectiveness and performance of all internal and external processes. Developed quarterly reports on the operating condition and performance of the battalion.

Led one of the battalion’s four operating groups (Company C). Supervised managers in the planning and coordination of future plans, orchestrating current operations, and ensuring the continuous operational readiness of the group. Managed the planning and development of curriculum for the U.S. Marine Corps Ground Intelligence Officer Course (GIOC), an 11-week course designed to prepare newly commissioned officers for duty as Ground Intelligence Officers Marine Corps. Directed and supervised the execution of the GIOC training schedule; supervised instructor staff; mentored, evaluated, and led students.

Instructed Army and Marine lieutenants in analysis, decision making, problem solving and processing information. Supervised Marine lieutenants attending the course and ensure they received the requisite Marine-specific training for their initial assignments as Ground Intelligence Officers in the Marine Corps.

Led and managed a staff of 27 in the planning, direction, and management of all reconnaissance and intelligence activities supporting the battalion. Responsible for the direction and management of all activities related to the utilization and protection of classified information.

Supervised the training and operations of a 23-person scout sniper platoon. Supervised the management of the platoon's human resources, equipment, and supplies. Developed and mentored the platoon's employees.

Developed and implemented policies and procedures that ARCO Marine's operating groups used to comply with all environmental laws, treaties, and regulations. Implemented new hazardous waste management procedures that resulted in cost reductions of approximately $3 per pound of solid hazardous waste produced. Participated in a pilot-study to develop retrofit engineering remedies to reduce the magnitude of ARCO Marine's waste streams.
