Hong Kong

• Design development: assist Creative Director in all facets of brand image development; design development of MFVD main line, Beach Bridal collection, and accessories with an average of 70 styles over 140 SKU's; develop mood and presentation boards; fabric and trim development; catalogue and maintain inventories of new fabrics and trims for design development; liaison with development team on creation of samples.• Garment Production: liaison with production team on timely and efficient delivery of new productions; conduct weekly inspections to Shenzhen factories.• Merchandising: coordinate with retail team regarding merchandising and inventory distribution for MFVD stores worldwide based on inventory levels in HK warehouse; create product knowledge presentations for MFVD retail teams worldwide for new collections/product being delivered to stores.• Visual Merchandising: create and implement individual VM directives for 14 boutiques worldwide in addition to visual directives for pop-up shops with various international retail partners such as Le Bon Marche, France and Bergdorf Goodman, US.• Marketing: supervise all campaign and product photoshoots for the brand; coordinate with marketing team on effective strategies for new collection/product launches on MFVD website as well as social media channels; conduct market research regarding local markets for MFVD boutiques (i.e. Hong Kong, Dubai, London, Beverly Hills, etc.) for effective design development of new collections.

Hong Kong / Shanghai

• Design development: establish aesthetic and seasonal direction for Oba Asia collection; design and oversee all aspects of creative process of creating collection with an average of 50 styles over 150 SKU’s; direct and manage in-house studio on creation of samples and all production. • Marketing: collaborate with stylists on art direction and styling for all photo shoots for ad campaigns, editorial, lookbook, and website; liaison with worldwide PR/Marketing teams and showrooms on strategy for sales expansion and visibility in China and the US; manage social media accounts and promotions for Western markets (i.e. Facebook and Instagram).• Visual Merchandising: develop concept and visual directives for Oba points-of-sale in Hong Kong and China.• Garment Production: As part of Oba Studio design development section, responsible for design/development/production for various international brands including Charlotta Gandolfo (resortwear, Sweden), Be Celine B. (eveningwear, France), J. Keydge (tailored menswear, France), Adornista (denim sportswear, UK/Portugal).

New York City

• Design development: establish aesthetic and seasonal direction for Couture collection; design and oversee all aspects of creative process of creating collection; supervise all patterns and samples to ensure optimal fit and drape; source all fabrics and trims for line from both international and domestic sources.• Management: manage team of 10 seamstresses and cutters across NYC, Palm Beach, and Boston locations. • Client relations: consult with private clients on the creation of custom designs and manage all fittings through completion.• Marketing: oversee preparation of NY Fashion Week runway presentations, including model casting, styling, and composing run of show for runway shows; organize and manage trunk shows across the US for sales and promotion of collection.• Patternmaking: create patterns for both collection pieces and custom orders from draping and flat pattern in cooperation with the patternmaker.Chief Designer, Fiandaca Prêt-à-Porter, New York City, April 2012 to February 2013Couture Collection Designer, Fiandaca, New York City, March 2005 to December 2010

• Design development: oversee design for EVE NY collections, establish seasonal direction and trends for each collection in collaboration with CEO; consult on design for Badgley Mischka China licensee incorporating design concepts from US label; oversee the careful execution of the line and ensuring that collection is cohesive across 500+ SKU’s per collection; interpret international fashion trends for mainland Chinese market; source fabric and trims from both domestic and international sources such as Première Vision, and select fabrics for upcoming collections; effectively incorporate inventory fabrics into new collections through innovative techniques and design.• Garment Production: work with internal production team and on-site factory regarding production matters, including fitting and approving all production samples and fabrics.• Management: responsible for team of 2 senior designers, 6 designers, 2 design assistants as well as coordination with patternmaking department, knitwear and accessories department; organize and maintain all internal budgets of approximately CNY ¥900,000 (USD $141,000) for design department.• Merchandising: organize and supervise all internal EVE NY sales presentations and EVE NY fashion shows, including model casting and selection, composing run of show, styling all looks for various presentations; conduct training seminars for sales staff at EVE NY and Badgley Mischka boutiques throughout China.• Visual Merchandising: coordinate with visual merchandising team on developing and establishing visual directives and visual standards for all EVE NY stores in China.• Marketing: attend various publicity events in China including television appearances, interviews, and in- store appearances for promotion of EVE NY and Badgley Mischka China; conduct market research internationally (US, Europe, and Asia) as well as domestically in first-tier cities of Shanghai and Beijing.
