Member Of The Housing, Community And Law Clinic
Supervised by Prof. Neta Ziv, The Housing, Community and Law Clinic promotes the right to adequate and affordable housing by initiating Urban Renewal projects in Jaffa. The clinic employs a variety of strategies and combines input from different disciplines: law, community organizing, urban planning, real estate development and financing. In 2013, the Housing, Community and Law Clinic received the Emile Zola Human Rights Prize for its innovative work and contribution to the wellbeing of Jews and Arabs in Jaffa. The prize is awarded annually by The Emile Zola Chair for Interdisciplinary Human Rights Dialogue, at the Striks School of Law, the College of Management - Academic Studies (COMAS).
