Restless lecturer & researcher. Me: I am used to leading teams and advising organisations/peers, but I also evolving alone. My professional positions usually surf over the intersection of disciplines (sport, education and psychology), and this crossroads makes me think differently and move in different pathways than my colleagues. That is why theoretical/scientific complexities and problem-solving situations are part of my professional development. I can only swim in these professional waves by taking open approaches and having a ready-to-fail and innovative mindset. As a result, I decided to go beyond my knowledge and comfort zone, enrolling myself in a "Strategic Innovation" course at ESADE (Barcelona) that opened me wider and new professional interests and horizons. I am senior lecturer at the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (CAT, Barcelona). Core subjects: motor learning and development, sport learning, sport education. During my teaching years I have also been interested in innovative teaching methods. Since 2002, I lead a service-learning teaching project and since 2014, I have been regularly involved in innovative teaching-research projects. This eventually led me in 2022 to a partner of a large consortium granted by Erasmus+ Sport. Many times before, in 2013, I did research in Germany for nearly a year. This gave me the experience to work in international contextes, to appreciate professional diversity and to grow as researcher! It also increased my international activity: lecturing in other universities (supported by teaching Erasmus+ grants), running an international exchange program for students & professors and regularly visiting international research institutes. In addition to this academic profile, collaborating in sports clubs has always been in my life. After coaching a rugby amateur team for four years, I have been assuming several intense tasks as an assistant coach in a professional roller hockey team for about 10 years. As a result of this academic and professional know-how, I assess sports clubs and sports federations for improving training/planning methods from a social perspective.
