About Gil Rocha

Since 2015, I am Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Research Lab (LIACC) at Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). In July 2016, I received my M.Sc. in Informatics and Computing Engineering (MIEIC) from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), with a thesis on mining argumentative content from textual resources. My current research interests are focused in the area of Artificial Intelligence, mainly in the following subjects: Machine Learning, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, Argumentation Mining, Computational Semantics, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Robotics, and Multi-Agent Systems.
