I have over thirty years experience, over twenty of these at managerial level.I am experienced in Operations and Development and transformation of services in the voluntary,statutory and private sectors, thus giving me a good overall perspective on the social care field. I have NVQ qualifications in care and management as well as being a qualified NVQ assessor and having the Registered Managers AwardI have completed numerous short courses, and am qualified in presentation and group work skills,in Conflict training and am a qualified Mental Health First Aid trainer. I have completed the European Computer Driving License, and am a great believer in life long learning. My experience is in managing large teams of up to 200 staff spread over a wide geographical area, where I have been responsible for day-to-day management including people development, budget control of up to £3.5million pounds, strategic growth, transformation,remodelling of services,development and marketing of new business models and dealing with professional and regulatory organisations. I am friendly and approachable and pride myself on my ability to remain objective and non-judgemental even in difficult and testing situations.
