In this pivotal role within our Technology organization, I lead Quality Assurance initiatives and 3rd Level Support across multiple tech teams. Logging Failure Incidents and record the accurate time and other details that are important for further analysis.Analyzing Failure Notices generated and channeled to FMEA system, training Failures, classify with correct Failure Mode and align appropriate impact of failure.Continuously improving the FMEA system, add new tags based on regular expressions and ensure classification of Failures are accurateInvestigation programming errors analyzing Java Stack traces and performing review of source code to determine reason for failure

Facilitate the testing of new software features and prepare software releases and ensure new releases are of the highest quality before migration on live systems.My responsibilities include reviewing of requirements of new features and creating test scenarios that will best test how the new feature will work and ensure integration with existing software system.Other responsibilities include Failure Analysis and monitoring of customers software systems, to ensure failures on the live environment are quickly detected and follow-up with development and deployment to ensure a quick resolution to issues found.

Windows Media Center on Vista and Windows 7 operating systems - automated testing carried out TV feature with contexts DVBS(Satellite), DVBT(Digital TV) and PAL(Analogue).Test execution – Automated(80%) and Manual(20%) test cases and record and report results. Test results reporting - Any bugs that are found during the test runs are logged with accurate repro steps, s/w and h/w environment and any failures or blocking bugs are escalated.Smoke tests – as requested by the development team and prior to checking in non-trivial changes to new software builds.Repros - test requests are made by the development team to help reproduce bugs as part of bug fixing. Manual directed testing - take part in manual directed ad-hoc testing. Bugs found are logged with detailed repro steps, environment and supporting logs.

Responsibilities include:Complex betting Software on Solaris UAT- manual testing of new development and software updates and executing test scenarios on the Finsoft betting software system.Participate in Test Plan preparation and maintenance. Testing the Finsoft betting software on Solaris UAT environment and identifying bugs.Logging software issues with developers at Finsoft.Verifying all handoffs/bugs fixes in preparation for software releases.Reviewing and becoming proficient with new functionality and training users about new software features.Liaising with various departments regarding new feature requests for Finsoft software, right through development, testing and release to live environment.

Responsibilities include:Creative Labs Audio/MP3 Products – manual testing of multimedia software suite and third-party software such as Steinberg Cubase, Cakewalk Sonar and Winamp.Test lead projects and ensure products are released and delivered on schedule.Design QA test plans and test cases from product specification for newly developed products.Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing of software and hardware.Help manage projects and give the Product/Brand manager updates on issues and schedule status.While in charge of many projects I co-coronate the activities of testers, ensuring they know exactly what areas needs to be covered and ensure work carried out will be of the highest level and well documented.
