Responsible for client advice, tax and accounts compliance and practice management.

Hanley & Co are "Accountants You Can Talk To" so a key part of my role (and my favourite!) is translating technical jargon and data into understandable and un-daunting information and advice.As Tax Manager I am responsible for tax (VAT, CT, PAYE, ERS, P11d, SA, CGT, IHT) compliance and advice within the Practice for a wide variety of parties, from individuals (including High Net Worth Individuals), owner managed businesses and board controlled Limited Companies. In addition to my tax duties, as an ACA and FCCA I am well qualified to also prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and Limited Companies and also lead the annual statutory audit of several medium and large Limited Companies, and undertake other assurance engagements for clubs, FIPS and other societies. I also advise on all business matters including new business start-ups, closures and statutory Company compliance. In recent years I have specialised in advising online trading businesses, and B&Bs and small hotels throughout the UK in all aspects of their business and responsibilities.
