• Monitor, record, and report symptoms and/or changes in patient conditions in a child/adolescent Partial Hospitalization program serving 50 patients from ages 3 years through 15 years.• Completion of all admissions, discharges, and medication reconciliation.• Construct, implement and monitor nursing care plans for chronic health conditions if indicated.• Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and activity, weight and vital sign monitoring, and treatments of illness and injuries as needed.• Provide family education regarding medications, health conditions, and age-specific community health concerns and resources.• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and medical records.• Perform administrative functions, such as recording and maintaining program manual restraint data, daily participation in treatment team meetings, monitoring infection control issues, and collaboration with M.D. and A.P.N.• Provide staff training on health related and medication related issues.

• Review of consumer's insurance benefit package to determine coverage for mental health, eating disorder, and substance abuse detoxification services at acute inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and residential levels of care.• Perform concurrent reviews with providers and collaborate patient plan of care and coordinate aftercare services as needed. • Presentation of cases to M.D. and utilization management team as needed.• Authorization or denial of services in compliance with company provided clinical criteria.• Collection and documentation of accurate clinical data, including submission of information in computer database.

• Direct and supervise Mental Health Technicians and LPNs on acute adult dual-diagnosis inpatient unit.• Monitor and record all patient care, medication monitoring, substance abuse detoxifications, doctor's orders notations, and submission and review of laboratory and diagnostic procedures.• Completion of admissions, medical treatments as ordered, and patient observations as required.• Communication to management and oncoming staff regarding patient medical and psychiatric conditions, medication changes, and/or patient safety concerns.• Communication with patient family members and providing health- related education as needed.

• Direct and supervise MHTs and manage therapeutic milieu on a 25 bed acute inpatient adolescent female behavioral health unit and 25 bed acute adult chemical dependence / detoxification inpatient unit.• Complete all admissions and discharges. • Transcription of MD medication orders and diagnostic testing orders and procurement of services as needed.• Identify and provide education to patients and families regarding pertinent health, medication, and safety issues.• Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts and medication logs.
