Senior Human Resources Generalist
CurrentPerforms operational responsibilities in all HR areas including recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy interpretation and development, and special projects. Ensures compliance with Federal and State regulations. • Conducts orientation and onboarding programs.• Composes and updates job descriptions and ads for all positions. • Develops and maintains a performance management program that influences a culture of continuous feedback for staff.• Documents and addresses employee relations issues and resolutions. Conducts conflict resolution meetings.• Conducts, analyzes, and reports new hire, stay, and exit interview data to leadership.• Assists with HR-related compliance through monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, tracking applicants, and maintaining records.• Oversees safety policies and initiatives and coordinates compliance issues with management.• Conducts investigations and recommends actions to effectively resolve policy violations.• Provides guidance, counseling, and training to supervisors. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for improving management skills.• Assists management with assessment of performance improvement needs and the development of associated action plans.• Provides assistance to employees and managers regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures.• Researches training solutions and previews programs for staff and management levels.• Designs, develops and presents training programs.• Assists in managing employee benefit programs and addressing questions.• Use of ADP to process payroll.• Prepares EEOC and Affirmative Action plans. • Records employee accidents, injuries and submits required information to insurance carrier. Maintains OSHA logs.
