About Gina Cláudia Lemos
As a guest lecturer at Escola Superior de Educação, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, she enthusiastically shares knowledge and practices in the disciplinary and scientific areas of Educational Psychology and Educational Sciences. As a researcher at Centro de Investigação em Educação (CIEd) Universidade do Minho, she has been working since 2003 on the construction, validation and standardization of cognitive assessment measures and on the study of students' personal factors and families' contextual factors that interfere with learning and school achievement of adolescents in Portugal. More recently, it has been involved in training educators and teachers regarding teaching of reading and writing, and in the contribution of artistic practices to learning (for children attending schools in priority intervention areas) and development (for people experiencing homelessness). What moves me is the ability to make a difference [mine] in the world through actions that I accept with a high sense of commitment in Psychology and in Educational Psychology.
