- Oversee all aspects of academic planning and program management for Honors Global Programs and Burch Field Research Seminars, including the following: - Recruit and prepare faculty to lead study abroad programs - Manage all logistical aspects of international program development - Develop program budgets and manage program finances - Coordinate academic approval processes of new programs - Complete ongoing program assessment and evaluation - Coordinate all aspects of student advising, recruitment, marketing, budgeting, and financial accounting in collaboration with the UNC Study Abroad Office - Conduct comprehensive pre-departure orientation for students - Oversee annual Burch Fellowship competition, Carolina Blue Honors Fellowship, and Robinson Honors Fellowship - Manage donor stewardship for Burch Programs

Managing all of Honors Carolina's Global Programs and Fellowships

- Manage the Global Immersion Elective program in its entirety for both the MBA and MAC Programs- Work with faculty and administration to identify countries of focus and carry out plans for comprehensive courses about and in these countries- Work with vendors, faculty, staff and students to plan course logistics for both on-campus and in-country portions of immersion experiences- Facilitate intercultural communications content and activities to support development of intercultural competence- Assist with orientation, logistics, and administration of MBA Program activities- Assist with orientation, training, and support of MBA Exchange students and international students

- Orient and train international educators in adjustment and instructional techniques- Support international teachers in their adjustment to US American culture and education- Travel to interview, select, and orient teachers for preparedness to teach in US classrooms- Design, implement, evaluate international programs for globally-themed schools- Mediate cross-cultural encounters between international teachers and school officials- Assist teachers in maintaining their visa status and complying with program requirements
