SELECTED HIGHLIGHTS• Created the City of Fort Wayne’s first Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Initiative bringing millions of dollars to Fort Wayne citizens over 13 years. • Enhanced the City of Fort Wayne’s crisis and long-term response capabilities through strategic communication and field operation planning, enhanced public and media relations, and working closely with the Allen County Office of Homeland Security.• Local government liaison assisting SEMA/FEMA responsible for organizing and executing post-disaster outreach and recovery efforts in 2003 on behalf of the City of Fort Wayne. • Streamlined the Board of Public Works to be more efficient and responsive through paperless record keeping, online payments, online permit requests, and electronic search mechanisms. • Created the Psychiatric Disability Claims Management process for Lincoln Re providing a focused and methodical unique approach to investigating and managing psychiatric claims. • Worked with and influenced the investment decisions of Fort Wayne Enterprise Zone businesses to save them $5.4 million in taxes while encouraging the investment of $66.3 million in building and property improvements and equipment investments and the creation of 386 new jobs since 2011.• Created and managed Indiana Michigan Power’s programs geared to helping low income, payment troubled customers such as Neighbor to Neighbor program, Energy Share program, and Low Income Arrearage Forgiveness program.
