I discovered my love for sales as a sales representative in the commercial glass industry. It was there I learned to help customers meet tight deadlines and overcome logistical problems, something very familiar to me in our work in the printing industry today! It’s been said my enthusiasm and customer focus accounts for my success in both of these male-dominated fields.One of my life-long passions is the field of nutrition, which some time ago spurred me to return to college for a formal education in the subject. I graduated with honors as a Registered Dietician from Marywood University. I then began a nutritional counseling practice as a joint venture with a start-up group of physical therapists in Montgomery NY.Simultaneously I was drafted to help with my husband’s new but fast-growing business. It was soon hard to keep pace. After much talk and trepidation, I gave up the nutritional practice to focus on building this new opportunity at Technifold USA. I became heavily involved in sales and made a commitment to set the bar high for outstanding customer service. I have this uncanny knack for recalling the smallest of details about thousands of our customers. Often a customer will think I’m at the computer pulling up account details when in fact I’m away from my desk on a portable phone and recalling details completely from memory! People loved to be remembered and treated well. It’s a simple recipe for business success and I believe it’s one of the key factors (aside from our awesome line of post-press products) that put Technifold USA, Inc. on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America. As we like to say here at the office, I “bleed Technifold blue.” Every day here talking to our customers is just as new and exciting as it was the day I made my first sale. And occasionally I still get the opportunity to use my nutrition training on a volunteer basis, having taught the nutritional component of a fitness program at a local parish.
