Working within the unionised airline environment offering generalist HR support and advice for the Flight Deck, Crew, Engineering and Ground Operations population. Reporting and monitoring of long term sickness absence including home visits, medical reports/assessments, return to work interviews and applicable company PHI claims. Participation in Disciplinary and Grievance Hearings. Recruitment and selection. design and delivery of training workshops and employee induction courses. Reporting and monitoring of employee turnover. Producing HR monthly reports.

Crawley

Within the HR Direct Service Centre team, I provided generalist HR support and advice to a population of approx. 4000 employees located on the Worldwide Overseas Programme, First Choice Retail Division and First Choice UK Head Offices. As well as face to face contact, due to location, a large percentage of advice and support offered was via telephone and therefore strong verbal communication was vital. Further to daily HR enquiries, I also produced management reports and constantly worked on projects to monitor and improve employee benefits, Terms & Conditions of Employment, communication and staff retention.

Providing HR generalist support and advice to 850 employees within Spain whilst overseeing the HR Admin function & line managing of 3 HR Administrators. Reviewing functions, policies and procedures and support of change. Providing advice on Disciplinary and Grievance issues. Recruit and interview and selection of overseas employees. Liaising with external clients including insurance companies, uniform suppliers and recruitment agencies. Presenting training workshops and induction programme for new recruits. Producing monthly reports, monitor staff retention and review admin procedures within the department.
