ASGE supports gastroenterologists in their work to prevent cancer and treat diseases of the digestive tract, and aids the public in understanding this important area of their health. I worked with journalists to publicize the fast-moving world of GI research, and partnered with dozens of national organizations on public awareness efforts around colorectal cancer screening and prevention. A strong project manager, I was responsible for several high-revenue strategic partnerships. I was honored to serve on the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable.I was responsible for several clinical publications, including ASGE Leading Edge, ASGE Journal Scan, and weekly clinical video tips. While serving as Director of Communications at ASGE, I was appointed to develop, launch and run this new subspecialty society.
