I was a key-holder at the Don's Photo on Portage Ave. I sold cameras, photofinishing (prints), and provided customer support. I trained staff. I hosted workshops and photowalks, and also created (and hosted) the company's monthly Camera HangOut event. I helped with social media. I did graphic design work for posters and sales cards, and photographed merchandise for online sales. I had a picture of a picture on my phone and I was hoping to get it copied for a very special occasion. Ginaya, a sales associate helped me. She walked me through printing the photos myself. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I also heard and saw how other sales associates where helping other customers. They were professional, patient and knowledgeable as well. I was a key-holder. I worked in both store and kiosk settings in all Sunglass Hut locations in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Part of the responsibilities I had were counting/handling money, depositing cash, and opening/closing the store. I helped set up one of the stores in Polo Park.I engaged with customers, settled disputes, and provided information on sunglasses and warranties. I repaired and made adjustments to the merchandise. I also helped with inventory.

I informed customers about education opportunities, recorded customer’s information, and resolved concerns or conflicts.
