• Participated SunPower Corporation Line 4 Damage Etch set up including: participated installing of equipment, inventory management, storage, MES and testing, launching successfully after 3 months• Coordinated with Supply Chain, Research & Development, Equipment Engineering, Lab Technicians, and Plant Operators to commission new product manufacturing process to improve the cosmetic appearance of the solar cell.• Coordinated with the suppliers to ensure sufficient inventory in place to meet the production target in one shift. • Led Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Damage Etch line 4 team to improve production efficiency, meeting the project target by identifying production waste and scrap, improving orderliness of line, improving inventory management, implementing a 5’S housekeeping system and FIFO System• Conducted an investigation using buffers and running life time wafers to identify issues with product quality and equipment reliability making necessary adjustments and providing approval • Led Statistical Process Control (SPC) Damage Etch Line 4 team on a weekly basis to analyze downtime, scrap and waste, “out of spec” discrepancies, creating a SPC report for management, for effective quarterly production planning. • Participated in safety meetings on monthly basis and then conducted daily inspections resulting in the proper use of PPE and following of standard safety procedures for waste and chemical disposal• Supported the R & D Department by running sample production tests, maintaining and testing the concentration of KOH, IO3, H2SO4, DIO2 and O3 providing analysis report on scrap, waste, breakage resulting in improved process and cosmetic appearance. • Trained 6 technicians on production, inventory, reporting procedures and equipment handling resulting in all technicians being certified by the 2 month timeframe
