I have over 20 years of nursing experience in various roles having worked in critical care, emergency, and education. I am currently the trauma program coordinator for two hospitals in Southeastern Wisconsin where I work closely with the medical directors to manage the performance improvement process and ensure the hospitals meet the standards required to maintain trauma program accreditation. I currently serve on the executive council of the South East Trauma Advisory Council and on the state Classification Review Committee. In addition, I am a Trauma Nursing Core Course Instructor and Pediatric Advance Life Support Instructor. I authored a publication in the peer reviewed Society of Trauma Nursing Journal titled- “Trauma Team High-Fidelity Simulation Training in a Rural Level III Trauma Center: An Interprofessional Experience.”I obtained a master’s degree in nursing (MSN) with an emphasis on academic education from Western Governors University in 2022 which has enhanced my knowledge in education development. When not working I enjoy spending time with my 3 busy children and our hobby farm. I am a regular volunteer with 4H and is a project leader for a county project. I enjoy teaching and mentoring youth leaders.
