Background SummaryA native Houstonian and an Austin resident since graduating from the University of Texas in 1978,I attended Parson School of Design and received a certificate of design in 1979.Excited to get into real estate, I attended the Austin Institute of Real Estate and became a licensed agent in 1980. My first development was a 30-unit student condominium development that I designed, built and sold. This led to developing office condominiums and selling commercial buildings and development sites.In 2010-2014, I was also a managing partner & president of Patriot Title Company and Reverse Mortgage USA together with my husband John Mitchell, a CPA and business entrepreneur.Currently, I am a Managing Partner in First Commercial Title Company and continue to invest in real estate and rental properties.
