Starting with Navitas in 2002, I initially worked directly for the CEO as an Executive Coordinator. Currently, as Office Manager, I am a ‘Jill-of-all-trades.’ I oversee all of the daily ins and outs of the office and support our Executive team to make sure that they operate as a well-oiled machine. I cover everything from greeting guests and clients when they walk through the door, to the handling the firm’s billing, Human Resources, event planning and various operational tasks, to providing marketing support, to performing executive administrative tasks as needed to keep the office moving forward. There is no person to young or too important for me to start a conversation with – I make everyone feel like they are a part of the group. I pride myself in being a team player and managing any process or project necessary so that everyone on our team ends up successful in the end. By working closely with my team, we provide privately-held and family-owned enterprises with a process to manage decisions around the development of wealth transfer and business succession plans.Navitas was formed in 2001 with the mission of providing families with a dynamic process that enhances the use, enjoyment, and impact of Family Wealth. In my role as Manager for Roy Anderson Corp, I had the wonderful experience of overseeing all types of contracting and construction projects. I was given the opportunity to work in within the unique intersection of contractors, clients, and managing team members. I was able to be a part of our contracting projects from the inception of an idea, all the way through seeing the tangible project built. Working as an Director of Marketing for Tosco Marketing / Circle K was incredibly rewarding. I had the opportunity to make an impact both with my local team in Shreveport, LA, and also with the national sales team. I oversaw 850 stores across 14 different states. In my role, I was responsible for managing all marketing events and promotions within the c-store world and community. I landed my role as a sales associate with Minolta (now Konica Minolta) through a close relationship mine, and I quickly excelled at promoting our new and exciting product: a word processing machine. This was my first sales related role, and it taught me first hand how important relationship building can lead to happy customers who genuinely feel like you care about them. It also taught me how to educate clients so they felt confident in the product they were purchasing and how it would solve a problem that they were facing.
