My objective is to be a transformational leader who makes a difference in others' lives.In real-world application, I am a coordinator in the Educational Services department. My work with teachers is a passion as I strive to guide and support them in order to make a broader impact on student learning.Prior to becoming an administrator, I served for eight years as a teacher on special assignment in curriculum and instruction in the Corona-Norco Unified School District. That was an amazing opportunity that helped me hone my craft for providing professional development that challenges the thinking of educators. Prior to that, I taught first, second, fourth and fifth grades, enabling me to learn a broad span of pedagogical instruction. This also helped me earn credibility with elementary school teachers because I have experiences in both primary and upper-grade classrooms. Through my twenty-six years in education, I have learned to consider each opportunity that comes my way. It has been a joy so far, and I am always excited by the next possible adventure!
