I have over 19 years of experience in the energy industry with a background in credit analysis and contract administration. In addition to my experience as a credit analyst with Idaho Power, PacifiCorp, and Avangrid Renewables, I have been actively involved on a variety of contract drafting committees giving me in-depth knowledge and understanding of the standardized trading agreements as well as one-off trading agreements, guaranties, confidentiality agreements, and much more. I am active in the energy industry and served as a board member of the International Energy Credit Association (IECA) from 2014-2017. From 2012 to 2014 I chaired the Contracts and Legal Education Group, an education group of the IECA with over 400 members at the time. In 2013, I was the recipient of the IECA Outstanding Member Award and completed the IECA Leadership Development Program in 2014. I helped in the development of the IECA Dodd-Frank Amendments and the IECA Master Agreement Gap Risk Table. My desire to optimize opportunity, embrace change, and grow professionally led me to start Energy Contract Management, LLC (ECM) in 2016. ECM provides experienced and knowledgeable contract administration services/consulting for a fraction of the cost of legal counsel. I provide knowledge of the standard energy master trading agreements in power, natural gas, and renewables for both physical and financial trading and much more.
