Establish centralized freight function that provides 24/7 support and exception management of all movements while providing visibility for all engine movements to Executive Team members Under My direction of Department Head, manage strategic and tactical execution of logistics staff and activities, including planning, leading, organizing and directing work assignments, performance management and budgets for shipping, export, and customs personnel for the development and maintenance of accurate information of a moderate to complex level to support effective logistical handling of domestic and international movement of freight and licensing engines and components requiring the efficient movement. I provide guidance as a supply and logistics managerial contact between vendors, sales & other DAI operating groups in the handling of JIT and materials issues, including shipping, export, customs and transportation freight, I have primary responsibility for all logistical activities in support of all logistical movement of engines and components requiring prompt and efficient handling domestic and international import/export processes. Maintain accurate, required records/databases associated with freight transactions. I build relationships with customers, operations personnel, customer agency personnel and international expediting services to help resolve any freight problems. Deal directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations. Assist in handling any delivery inconsistencies or delays. Distribute and maintain various shipping records and reports. I am responsible for delivering to Operational Business leaders cost reduction strategies and cost avoidance activities. I supply development and implementation of metrics, processes, guidance, policy, and execution rigor.

Managed Central Freight Team- I ran all freight over 26 locations within the company and 3 International locations - Running All AOG events for Dallas Airmotive, First Support Program, NFO, AGO, CTC. Perform advanced and diversified assignments in shipping department, making independent decisions with sensitive and confidential information. Establish best pricing from freight carriers to include quoting from select carriers, annual and bi - annual contract negotiations and invoice audits. Meet customer/vendor commitments by utilizing carriers with on-time service levels.Ensure proper general ledger costing and accountability so that we have accurate income and balance sheet statements. Distribute and maintain various sales/shipping records. Create shipping documentation per military and DOT regulations. I was required to be able to communicate effectively with various types of shipping, transportation and logistics agents and employees within the organization to identify and resolve product shipping and logistics issues. I was in full control also All Freight out of the DFW area ( 150 + - 6000 lbs. ) - Moved all freight for Military contract I am fully compliant with International shipping, Commercial Invoices, Proforma Invoices, AES filing, Schedule B and HTS codes for INTL shipping . Communicate in writing, or orally, product logistics matters to others. I had to independently follow and execute work assignments to provide effective product shipping and logistics data entry services to achieve business objectives, product delivery and organizational goals within established time frames and specifications. I managed the to follow procedures and make decisions determined from available choices and from well-established guidelines. I had to analyze situations and use innovation to resolve problems.

receiving daily inventory, managed inventories for floor stock and all ordering, reviewing and verify quantities received against BOC, purchase request. pick and pull of all OTC sales in support of all company's RTC units and field service support, lease exchange parts. Manage and keep inventory of material as well as transferring parts to the designated area, Stocking received parts to their respective flow areas, packing and out the door in a timely manner. Followed environmental and safety policy within the company.
