CurrentSupport NASA's Landsat Project Science Office with communications and public engagement efforts.• Organized and implemented several innovative Landsat 9 launch events around Lompoc, CA in including science talks, children’s workshop and family fun event, Landsat gallery exhibit, and development of a wall mural and geocaching geotour to celebrate the launch and the upcoming Landsat 50th Anniversary. Also led the planning and logistics for the airport viewing site and activities tent with over 1200 visitors.• Creator of Earth Observatory for Kids with over 30 issues aimed at communicating real Earth Science data to diverse young adults. • Develop variety of communication materials for science conferences and large public events including creating and conducting activities such as Spectral Signature Matching at events like Earth Day, USA Sci&Eng Festival, and the Capital Hill Maker Fair. • Coordinated and designed virtual outreach activities to engage the public during the pandemic including the design of NASA’s Earth Science virtual booth for 2020 SCIFEST event which received over 7,000 total visits, more than any other NASA booth at the event.• Organized special events including the 20th Anniversary of Landsat 7 event, Howard Community College Climate Forums, and the Landsat 9 Friends and Family day at Goddard.• Designed several products for AGI’s Earth Science Week including posters, games, hands-on activities and lessons that are distributed to thousands of teachers.• Developed and conducted library programs around publications (e.g, Adventure of Echo the Bat, NASA’s Tour of the Electromagnetic Spectrum).• Led a NASA working group on supporting Libraries and Makerspaces with Maker activities.
