Though I directly managed the internet team, as Director of Sales I was responsible for analyzing data of the sales team members’ performance and progress (then developing and facilitating necessary training strategies), designing and implementing a number of marketing initiatives, and reviewing monthly income/expenses from specific lead sources in order to determine the effectiveness of those sources. This information was presented weekly to the GM and Sales Management team and used to make administrative decisions which affect the operation of the sales team and companies with whom we did business. I was also responsible for networking with potential friendly businesses, hiring/firing of staff, maintaining the dealership website, training and monitoring the progress of the entire sales staff with regard to computer usage, online tools, sales strategies, and customer management.
