[Media Connect Partners merged with BrandStar Agency on January 1, 2017]As the team lead, I keep a group of community managers, social media analysts, and social media monitors on track to get their work completed properly and on time. When a problem arises from any of these team members, they report to me so that we can come to a solution that can be made consistent throughout the entire process. Over the course of becoming the team lead, I have streamlined processes, encouraged a team work ethic through helpful advice, sharing of concerns, and open discussion. While at BrandStar, I have worked closely with the HR Department, aiding in new candidate interviews, new system training and PTO privileges for my team. As we began the merge with BrandStar Agency at the beginning of 2017, I was sought after for insight and understanding of what Media Connect Partners does and how we can better serve the Marketing Department at BrandStar. Account Managers and Executives alike turned to me for process knowledge, team dynamic and overall needs throughout the merging process. As the merge continues, I will be able to collaborate further with the Executive team to help execute growth in our team's needs and processes.

As the social media manager of our faith division, Media Connect Partners, I ensure that the client and team relationship is well connected and stays strong throughout the term of the agreement. I work with our team of content mangers, community managers, analysts, and monitors to establish their job roles and responsibilities and establish training sessions and growth patterns for all team members.

Over the course of becoming the team lead, I have streamlined processes, encouraged a team work ethic through helpful advice, sharing of concerns, and open discussion in bi-weekly team meetings. As I moved into the team lead position, I was given more responsibility by the account managers and CEO and my thoughts and opinions on certain processes were valued and continue to be so. Through individual research and growth in relationship with each team member, I have been able to make the higher up team members aware of changes that needed to take place.

As a social media community specialist, I am in charge of several large client accounts that reach millions of followers on social media. Daily tasks include monitoring each social media platform to ensure the space is clear of any reputation damage, spam, or inappropriate engagement, as well as engage the community that is actively participating appropriately. A community specialist is also in charge of collecting data from various analytic tools to report to the account manager and client on how successful their campaigns are on the digital space.
